We’re proud to have:

  • A large astro-turf pitch and soft-pour playground with fun equipment
  • Basketball courts, a school hall, and a fully equipped gym
  • A bright, welcoming school environment where students enjoy a hot lunch daily

🌟Our Programmes - Learning That Inspires

We offer a vibrant mix of programmes that nurture learning, creativity, leadership, and well-being.

From early years initiatives like Aistear, Ready, Set, Go Maths, Mata sa Rang, and Literacy Lift-Off, to hands-on innovation through STEAM in a Box, STEM, VEX Robotics, Bee-Bots, and the Junior Entrepreneur Programme—there’s something to inspire every child.

Students explore their voices and talents through Modern Languages, Creative Schools, Animation, and the Student Council, while well-being is supported through Roots of Empathy, Weaving Well-Being, and our Nurture Programme.

We also offer a wide range of sports and activities, including swimming, athletics, GAA, Sciath na Scol, soccer, basketball, rugby, table tennis, and chess.

With initiatives like Green School Flags, biodiversity programmes, cookery, and choir, our pupils enjoy a rich, well-rounded experience — and there’s always more to come!

Parents: Useful Things To Know

Transitioning to a new school can be a daunting experience sometimes and we aim to make this journey as happy as possible. We always begin by

Supporting a Smooth Transition to Our School

We understand that transitioning to BIG school can sometimes feel daunting—for both children and parents. That’s why we strive to make this journey as welcoming and positive as possible.

To begin, we invite the parents of all new pupils to meet with us. During this visit on our OPEN DAY, you can complete an enrolment form, and we will take the time to listen to any concerns you may have and answer any questions. Open communication is key, and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Later in the year, we look forward to meeting all prospective parents at a further information day . During this event, we will give a short presentation about our school, sharing what you and your child can expect from their time with us in more detail. We will also welcome your questions and do our utmost to respond to every query.

On this day, we will also invite your child to come and meet their teacher. This visit gives your child the opportunity to explore the school environment and meet some of our staff. Being surrounded by familiar faces in a new setting can help your child feel more at ease. They will also have the chance to spend time in one of our classrooms, where they can interact and play with other children.

Our goal is to ensure your child has a positive first experience of school. This visit helps them become more comfortable in their new environment and supports a smoother transition in September. It also provides us, the teachers, with a valuable opportunity to get to know each child individually.

We are excited to welcome you and your child into our school community!
