We are very excited this year to be chosen to take part in the Midleton Arts Festival. This will take
place over the weekend of 24th-26th May in various venues around the town.
Throughout this year 4th and 3rd/4th have been involved in the Creative Schools initiative, funded by
The Arts Council in association with a local artist partnership with Belinda Walsh Visual Arts. The
focus was Animation through different forms including digital, paint and the theme is Sustainability
and Caring for our World.
You are welcome to join us at the opening night which will take place on Friday 24th May at My Place
Midleton at 7-9pm or you can attend anytime during the weekend. On exhibition will be the art that
the children have been busy creating this year with Belinda. In addition to this the boys’ animation
videos will be also be shown at Midleton Gate Cinema on Sunday morning 11-12pm which you are
also invited to attend…..hope to see you there!!!!
