The two Fourth Classes staged Porridge the Musical which tells the story of the Happy Valley Folk whose village is about to be destroyed by the opportunistic Papa Bear. Papa Bear and his family intend to unearth the valley folk in the hope of gaining global domination in the Porridge industry!!!
The Fourth Class pupils under the direction of Miss Lawlor and Ms. Cotter relished the opportunity to bring this ambitious production to stage. The pupils had input into every aspect of the production and weeks of preparation went into the show. Preparations included set design, costume design, and choreography. Everyone worked very hard to make the show the success it was - our school hall was full to capacity on both nights.
The boys, their parents and their teachers can be very proud of this fine production. We hope to see at least a few of the boys' names "up in lights" in the years to come. Well done to both Fourth Classes.
